Paddington Rotaract Soiree for Su'u

Rotaract Paddington have been working with the Rotaract Club of Honiara on Project R.I.S.E. (Renovation in Su'u for Education) for the past 12 months.

What started as just the sending of books to replenish a rundown library in Su'u has turned into a renovation that involves a team of 15 volunteers replacing the roof, wall sheeting’s, re-painting, replacing the 40 desks and chairs and fixing the bookshelves. Restocking the 4000 books has now become the cherry on top! We will be completing all of this at the school in less than 10 days from Wednesday the 8th of January to Friday the 17th of January.

We are so honoured to invite you to our final fundraising event for our international project, R.I.S.E. (Renovation in Su’u for Education). We have been working on this project for the past year and we have been working so hard to reach our goal of $25, 000. 

Our goal is to give the students of Su’u (a remote village on the island of Malaita in the Solomon Islands) a place where they can learn, relax and study, ultimately giving them the gift of education- something that could allow them to open any door and follow any dream they wish. 

We already have $18, 000 of our goal and invite you to, Soiree for Su’u, and with your support, we are hoping to achieve our goal.
