Rotary Peace Fellow Counsellors are required for Class XX together with those fellows from Class XIX who interrupted or deferred their studies during 2021 due to COVID-19. It is
anticipated that the fellows will arrive during late June or early July 2022 to start classes on Monday 25th July 2022.
anticipated that the fellows will arrive during late June or early July 2022 to start classes on Monday 25th July 2022. The Rotary Foundation mandates that Counsellors attend Cultural Sensitivity Training, and this has been scheduled for Saturday 7th May 2022.
Peace Fellows are scheduled to attend a Rotary Foundation Information Day and Orientation to District 9620 at District Headquarters, Wacol on Sunday 24th July 2022 (12 noon – 3:30 pm commencing with lunch). They are often supported on this occasion by their counsellors.
Being a counsellor is an extremely rewarding experience and an opportunity to meet these Fellows from many other countries of the world. The average age of our Peace Fellows is 30+ years and they have varied but interesting backgrounds in their previous field of work. They are only at the Rotary peace Centre for 18 months less University breaks.
